what we do, what we don't do
Peer support is the kind of support that friends spontaneously offer one another. A peer network is just a way to give people to opportunity to contact and to support each other. Parentlink is a peer network of private individuals, not an association or club and all network activities are arrangements between private individuals. We think that by meeting and sharing skills and experience we can help each other meet common needs for information and social contact. We are available for peer-to-peer support and information on breastfeeding, parenting, and local orientation, but we are not specialised and are not service providers. Everyone can participate in our activities and can get in touch with others to organise activities which are family-focused and maybe even environmentally responsible. Our activities are periodic and are announced on this site or via our mailing list. If you have time or energy and want to organise an activity… Why not?
