This historical town has some nice sights: a beautiful main square in the neighbourhood of a Sforza castle with long corridors and underground floor; a shoe museum, a nice cathedral. These touristic attractions are close to each other so children do not have to walk too much if you park in the city centre. The distance between Ispra and Vigevano is about 70 km, 1,5 hours by car.

Questa storica cittá ha molte cose da vistare: una splendida piazza vicino al castello Sforzesco che ha corridoi lunghi e un sotteraneo con le segrete; un museo della calzatura e un bel duomo. Le attrazioni sono vicine tra loro cosí i bambini non debbono camminare molto se si parcheggia nel centro. La distanza tra Ispra e Vigevano é circa 70 km, 1,5 ora con macchina.

Roman era "chiostro" from the 10th-11th Century. The Chiostro hosts events and exhibitions.

Isolino Virginia: One of Europe's most famous prehistoric sites in a unique Island setting. You can get to Biandronno from the cycle path around the lake. The Island is accessible by boat from "Strencia", near Biandronno. Weekends only from June - September. There is a restaurant: the Isola Virginia which has been known to serve up Neolithic-style food, on special occasions. Please note that the small museum on Isolino Virginia only holds part of the archaelogical collection of objects found on the island. The rest is held in the Museo Civico, Varese.

Swissminiature- Melide, Switzerland

Swissminiature is located in Switzerland, in Melide (73 km from Ispra, about 1,5 hour by car). It is an entertainment park where you can see the most interesting sights of Swiss in miniature: main squares of different towns, castles, railway stations, airports also connected by an operating miniature railway system. The territory of the park is rather small so even smaller children can walk easily and also entertaining for older children or adults.

É un parco dove si possono vedere i piú interessanti posti della Svizzera in miniatura: piazze di cittá differenti, castelli, stazioni di treno, aeroporti collegati da un piccolo trenino. Il territorio del parco non é troppo grande cosí anche i bambini piccoli possono camminare, ma questo programma é interresante anche per bambini piú grandi e per i loro genitori.
